334 - Quick first Impression 🌸 Laneige Clear - C Peeling Mask.
First of all, I failed so hard with this mask. Lol, it's great to not reading the "how to use". I just thought that it would be a normal wash off mask, you know - wash your face, apply the mask, let it sit for 20 minutes then wash off and then toner. This was clearly not how you supposed to use it… ⠀
So let me start with HOW you supposed to use it, so you guys will not make the same mistake as me. It's not a big deal of course, since you probably going to use it more than once. 🐰
• Wash your face and pat it dry, put on the mask on dry face.
• After applying it to your face you're going to gently massage your skin in circular motions, starting from areas with a lot of dead skin cells and working outward in the direction of skin texture. I DIDN’T CATCH THIS. 🙃 So I just applied it and let it sink, then I started thinking "how long should this be on?"
• After you have gently massaged it for a few minutes, wash off.
I didn't really notice but I do think the mask did bubble up a bit, have to be more observant when I use it next time! Would say that this mask did have a green tea smell or something like that - just a bit more stronger. I love the design of this product, and that it even comes with a spatula. (FYI probably shouldn't use this after yesterday's peeling, but my head didn't think that far..)⠀
🍓 When you first apply the mask it’s so cooling and relaxing, the texture is like a light cream or like when you mixed your smoothie too much.
🍓 You do feel the small konjac granules, that is supposed to provide a massage effect. But as I mentioned I didn’t know that I was supposed to massage before the end, soo yeah. The granules were a bit harsh, but I don't think it was the konjac granules alone that made it harsh. When I applied the mask on my hand I did feel those thiny other granules.
🍓 This left my skin so freaking soft, like a baby bottom.
🍓 My skin was more clear, smoother and brighter! I’m super excited to use this more, and promise to come back with a review where I’m going to be more observant
[Remember to use sunscreen, because of the AHA acid. This product was gifted to me, so #prgifted
